Piccolo transforms the organization of living spaces, combining inspiration and the creation of beautiful interiors. On May 11, 1964, Alfred Bedford, a young creator and restorer of furniture, opened the first Piccolo store on Fulham Road in London. He had the ambition to modernize the British furniture proposing a modern design at affordable prices. Since its inception, Piccolo has opted for style and inspired new trends, even seducing personalities such as Jean Shrimpton, Twiggy and Peter Sellers. In 1969, Piccolo opened nine stores in the United Kingdom and one in Canada, and created a mail order catalog.
